About the Owner
Joseph Duggan, the Director of JMD Construction, began his career and accomplished his carpentry apprenticeship in the West of Ireland during 2006 to 2010, he gained valuable experience with a highly regarded local carpentry firm in his hometown of Kilmhil.
With the completion of Joseph’s 4-year apprenticeship, he embarked on a journey to enhance his proficiency and love of carpentry and to gain valuable insights into the global evolution of this craft.
Engaging in a wide range of projects, Joseph’s commitment and dedication soon start to show. His ability to cultivate a strong set of skills in his craftsmanship, specifically focusing on constructing and designing beautiful and meticulously crafted homes. Today Joseph has close to 18 years’ experience in construction carpentry.
Minimalist Scandinavian Style of Design
Joseph was fortunate to spend a 1-year with a residential carpentry contractor whilst living in Sweden. This period gave him an insight into the superb Scandinavian minimalist design, which emphasises functionality and clean line styles.

This period gave him civil engineering experience which has added tremendous value to his overall skills.
